- As is the tradition, the Grey Lodge Pub will open at 7am for breakfast, with Founders Breakfast Stout, Russian River Perdition, and Flying Fish Espresso Porter on tap, and many more hard to get beers.Punxatawny Phil will give his prediction via TV at 7:20am. Later that morning Wissinoming Winnie will give her annual beer prognostication.

- Teresa's will be the first location in the suburbs to be tapping a deliciously fresh Firkin of Troegs delicious Nugget Nectar. Several other hoppy beers from the Trogner brothers will be on tap along with food pairings to wile away your time at this pay as you go event. Starts at 6pm.
- Friday Night Sampling: Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA February 06, 2009 - The Beer Yard
- This "Extra" IPA is the year-round version of the style which fans of Sierra Nevada have been awaiting for three decades (Mark has been waiting even longer; he really was a precocious child). Join us 5-7 so we can all cheer the dawning of a new age and do a celebratory post-Groundhog Day dance.

- Strong/winter beers from area breweries along with food made primarily with local ingredients. The food will include but not be limited to: Roasted pork tenderloin, stone fruit compote; Slow roasted beef short ribs, porter demi-glace; Mac and cheese; Risotto Fritters; Chipotle chicken quesadillas; Pigs in a blanket; Chips and Salsa; Sweet and Sour Meatballs; Chicken Fingers; Buffalo Wings; Charcuterie (salami, proscuitto, chicken liver pate, rillettes, country paté); Imported and local cheese display; homemade mustard and chutneys and a Dessert assortment.

- The celebration begins when McGillin’s welcomes those Bad Boys from Boston, Patsy and John ,with live Irish music. Authentic Beamish Irish Stout, along with Sly Fox's Seamus Irish Red Ale and O’Reilly’s Irish Stout will be pouring (plus, Chocolate Leprechauns). The menu will feature hearty Irish dishes including Bangers & Mashed (Irish sausage and mashed potatoes), Shepherd’s Pie, Irish Lamb Stew and Corned Beef with Cabbage.
