The Brewer's Plate April 10, 2005 - Reading Terminal Market

A special event which kicks off, although not officially, the Craft Brewers Conference, the annual Beer Association gathering which is being held in Philadelphia for the first time, beginning April 13. Fifteen regional breweries and brewpubs and 15 local restaurants will participate, with benefits going to the Fair Food Program, which is part of the Philadelphia area Slow Food movement.

Each brewery will bring two beers and each restaurant two food items, resulting in 30 separate pairings of beer and food. These will be presented on 15 different rastaurant tables with a brewery representative present to discuss the beers.
