To the delight of beer fanciers around the country, he American craft beer story is being picked up by mainstream media almost daily it seems. One of the more recent such pieces appeared on the internet this week, singing the praises of Philadelphia area breweries.

"America's Greatest Brewing City Reclaims Its Sudsy Heritage," an online article which went up at Travel Videos by Bea Broda Connolly last Monday provides an excellent overview of the local beer scene, especially for those unfamiliar with the subject.

After noting the historic importance of Philadelphia in American brewing and its decline following Prohibition and the emergence of the big national brands following World War II, the piece explains

But 60 years later, the Philadelphia region began reestablishing itself as a force in beer making.
