- July 03, 2005 - Former Victory Brewers Open Massachussetts Brewpub
- Former Victory Brewing co. brewers Christine Bump and Bill Hedon ("Bill Junior")have opened Pittsfied Brew Works in Massachussetts, we are reliably informed by Richard Ruch, acknowledged world expert on all things Victory and Victory-related.
Richard says that they're pouring six ales, "including a brown, a red, dry stout, IPA, kolsch and a pale. The dry stout is on nitro and they do have cask-conditioned ales, including the IPA. Also, a limited, but tasty food menu is available. They just brewed an ESB and Christine will soon start brewing some lagers." He modestly forgets to mention that the handpump at tne new brewpub was his gift to the pair, but we won't.
Pittsfield Brew Works is located at 34 Depot Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Phone is 413.997.3506. Pals of Christine and Bill will want to start planning a road trip.
